For most of us, writing is harder than speaking, even in our native language. It is even more challenging to write in a language that isn't our native one.
And yet, in our working lives it is something many of us have to do every day. We need to write emails to our clients and colleagues that are clear, concise, polite, and sometimes diplomatic.
This course will help you and your colleagues do just that! We cover the grammar and vocabulary you need to write various kinds of emails effectively.
Our course is for non-native English speakers who have an intermediate to advanced level of English. This equates to levels B1 to C1 in the CEFR system.
Our course has been designed for busy people, which is why we have divided the interactive quizzes and assignments into 20 sections, which should take about an hour a week to complete.
In the first part of the course, we focus on the vocabulary and grammar that you need to really improve your writing skills. Afterwards, we move on to look at how to write different kinds of emails, such as emails of enquiry and emails of complaint, and how to best reply to them.

Although online courses can provide a flexibility that is helpful for busy people, they can sometimes fail to motivate the learner as the participant often misses the personal contact with a teacher that a face-to-face course provides.
This is why we offer the course participants the chance to meet their teacher to discuss each of their 20 assignments. This also makes it easier for the teacher to adapt the course to best meet the particular needs of each participant.
